The Troika Party campaign aims to unpack the role of the Troika (European Commission, European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund) in the European crisis regime and dismantle the hegemonic discourse about the crisis causes and solutions. This campaign will use satire, sarcasm and humor as tools to challenge the neoliberal narrative. We will promote a Troika like party and Troika like candidates – as Christine Lagarde or Mario Draghi – to run for the European elections with slogans such as “Vote for us and you will never have to vote again” and “Democracy is not competitive”.
Through this campaign we will strengthen the coordination of the European movements and empower and educate unorganized sectors of the population. In the workshops we will present this initiative and we propose to think collectively the best way to launch and promote the campaign – also in perspective on Blockupy 2014.
